The El Colorado Lodge specializes in family reunions and large groups. Our 27 cabins are located on four acres of grounds and can accommodate approximately 125 people. The indoor conference room is perfect for family reunions. It can seat 45 people and has a full-sized kitchen, a color TV, and a small attached patio.  We have a volleyball court, horseshoes, a children's playground, tetherball, basketball hoop, croquet, a centralized hot tub, and Manitou's largest outdoor heated swimming pool.

We can assist reunion organizers with catering services, attractions and activity planning, special events, local service organizations, local vendors, and family and reunion activities.

A minimum three-night stay is required for each reunion and group reservation made for the summer season i.e. from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend.

The reunion organizer informs the El Colorado Lodge of the dates of the reunion and the tentative number and types of cabins required. The Lodge will hold the designated cabins to allow family members time to confirm their individual reservations. A credit card # is required to hold the designated cabins.

Deposits:
El Colorado Lodge requires a deposit for each room reserved. The deposit is the amount of one night's room rate plus tax. Deposits must be paid when the reservation is made. We will accept major credit cards or a personal check, if the check arrives in the mail prior to the reservation deadline. The deposit will be applied toward the guest's room fees unless the reservation is cancelled (see cancellation policy).

Cancellation Policy:
Because of our small size and a short season, cancellations affect us significantly. A guaranteed reservation constitutes a contract whereby we agree to forego all other reservations; the guest in turn, agrees to assume financial responsibility for those rooms being reserved for them. The closer to the arrival date a cancellation occurs the less likelihood of re-renting the room. For these reasons the Lodge adheres to a strict cancellation policy. If the reservation is cancelled the cancellation fee is $10.00 for each room cancelled unless the cancellation occurs within 60 days of the date of arrival. If the reservation is cancelled within 60 days of the date of arrival, the cancellation fee is one night's room rate plus tax for each cancelled room and the deposit is forfeited. Each guest is responsible fore the full length of his or her reservation.  Following arrival, if one or more days of the original reservation are cancelled, the guest remains financially responsible for the original reservation dates and will be charged for those dates.
